The Challenge

A company was eager to launch new offerings but was hampered by a lack of leaders to spearhead the initiatives. External recruitment was an option but presented challenges in terms of cost and missed opportunities for internal development. The company needed a way to empower their existing workforce to lead these new projects.

The Result

A leader from Horizon Now constructed an immersive, hands-on training program designed to equip middle managers with the skills and knowledge required to take a business idea from conception to launch. We organized participants into cohorts, promoting mutual learning and support. Participants further along in their journey provided guidance to newer cohorts, fostering a communal atmosphere of knowledge sharing. Classroom instruction was supplemented by mentorship from seasoned business leaders and practical business-building exercises that followed an iterative, lean approach. Participants developed critical skills such as hypothesis testing and presentation.

The Solution

The training program was an overwhelming success, with participants describing it as the most impactful experience of their careers.
